Each week we start with a 15 minute introduction on key techniques followed by 45minutes guided Yoga Nidra.
Week 1: What is Yoga Nidra
Week 2: Setting an Intention
Week 3: Breath and Body Awareness
Week 4: Visualisation
Week 5: 1 hour Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra, also commonly known as Yogic Sleep, is a state of dynamic sleep. 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3 hours of conventional sleep!
During Yoga Nirda you appear to be asleep, but are functioning at a deep level of awareness. Each week we will learn key techniques to relax consciously.
Benefits include not only feeling refreshed and relaxed, but can also include reduced stress, increased creativity, improved memory, and is a great support for personal mediation practice.
The best part though: ANY BODY CAN DO YOGA NIDRA! All it requires is to lie dowwn and be guided into a conscious yet deep sleep.
What to bring: water, (we have but if you would prefer your own – mat, blanket, bolster, eye pillow,) notepad – pen if you would like to take any notes.
