Sharing music in yoga class, holds devotional ‘Bliss’ and ‘Soundwaves’ a sound healing journey. Haitch is here to share his passion, music is proven to help sleeping and breathing. Backbending to Joy
Backbends are an important part of a well-rounded yoga practice and there are many benefits of practicing backbends. They tone and lengthen, and increase blood flow around the spine and diaphragm
Stanthorpe Yoga teacher Stacy Robson is bringing this 2hour workshop of backbending foundations to
Essence Of My Heart studio.
In this all-level backbending workshop we will break down and refine the key actions that are required in backbends, especially urdhva dhanurasana (wheel pose). We will work through a intelligent sequence using props & drills to establish a greater strength and confidence in urdvha dhanurasana.

Guided Meditation
Meditation May- 5 weeks of Guided Meditation with Mikeala
Each Tuesday evening in May join Mikeala for 45 minutes of guided meditation. Each week you will be guided through a new meditation technique. You will also take home your own Mala beads and new skills to easily incorporated into your own meditation practise. No meditation experience needed, you will be guided each step of the way.

The Goddess Series Durga
In this series of classes we will be exploring some of the Goddesses of the Hindu pantheon in their roles as expressions of Shakti, the divine feminine power which acts as the creative force of the universe according the Tantric tradition. In each of these 75 minute classes we will be tapping into the power of each Goddess through meditation, mantra and asana. In doing so we may begin to access the transformative potential of working with deities and unlock the energies of the sacred feminine within ourselves.
We begin with Durga, the weapon-wielding warrior riding on a Lion, slaying demons and saving the world. We will be immersing ourselves into the warrior archetype and looking to understand the fierce protective love which Durga invokes. This class welcomes both women and men who desire to explore Durga’s energies and qualities within themselves.

Yoga Beginners Course
Beginners Course, Learn the Basics!
Starting yoga or maybe you’ve been doing Yoga for a while, but are keen to go to the basics, it can be quite confusing and doing it in a room full of strangers can be a little intimidating. We get it!
We were in your place once too! Our beginner’s yoga course is super relaxed. We will take our time working through the common yoga poses so that you understand the benefits, technique and feeling of each one. You will have plenty of time to practice each pose in a no-pressure environment.
We also encourage you to ask lots of questions, to laugh and have fun.
We limit the size of the beginners course to 10-12 students so that you receive plenty of individual attention. You will also get your own copy of our Yoga Beginner’s Yoga Manual to keep. This manual has all the course notes, techniques and pictures of poses and will be an awesome reference as you continue to learn more about yoga.
In this 5 week course we will cover the following topics. It will be each Monday nights 6.35-7.35 January 14,21,28,February 4, 11.
Week 1 – Introduction to Yoga Breath and Sun Salutations
Week 2 – Standing Poses
Week 3 – Forward Bends, Back Bends
Week 4 – Hip Openers and Twists
Week 5 – Balances and Inversions for Beginners
PLUS please attend 5 extra Yoga classes (during each of the 5wks) with this is to enhance your learning and practice .
