Essence Of My Heart is a boutique Yoga, Pilates and Barre studio in Warwick in the Darling Downs region of South East Queensland. Classes are run by Jes Kerle, a trained and certified Yoga, Pilates and Barre teacher who delights in teaching beginner and intermediate classes to all ages and skill level.

All classes are taught with vibe and soul to keep you feeling vibrant.

What are the Benefits of Yoga, Pilates and Barre?

Yoga, Pilates and Barre are completely different styles of exercise but the styles complement each other tremendously. Practicing regularly e.g. 3-6 times/week, is recommended to get the best results. However, even if you are only able to attend once a week you will certainly experience the benefits.

Yoga Beginner's Course

Monday 6:45-7:45pm for 5 weeks

Starting yoga or maybe you’ve been doing Yoga for a while, but you are keen to go to the basics? It can be quite confusing and doing it in a room full of strangers can be a little intimidating. We get it! We were in your place once too!

Our beginner’s yoga course is super relaxed. We will take our time working through the common yoga poses so that you understand the benefits, technique and feeling of each one. You will have plenty of time to practice each pose in a no-pressure environment. We also encourage you to ask lots of questions, to laugh and have fun.

We limit the size of the beginners course 10 students so that you receive plenty of individual attention. You will also get your own copy of our Beginner’s Yoga Manual to keep. This manual has all the course notes, techniques and pictures of poses and will be an awesome reference as you continue to learn more about yoga.

In this 5 week course we will cover the following topics.

It will be each Monday night starting March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

Week 1 – Introduction to Yoga Breath and Sun Salutations

Week 2 – Standing Poses

Week 3 – Forward Bends, Back Bends

Week 4 – Hip Openers and Twists

Week 5 – Balances and Inversions for Beginners PLUS please attend 5 yoga classes (1 class each week, during the course of 5wks) so to enhance your learning and practice.

The Beginners Yoga Course is a great way to develop your practice and to get the most out of your classes!
